History
This organization was founded on December 1st, 2008 at 446 Anderson St., when Kevin McLoughlin, Mitchel Hannum, and Andrew Christian Repp, pledged themselves to a bond of trust. This bond stated that a charitable organization would be founded, to be known as Climb for a Cure, for the purpose of enhancing the quality of life in Canada and the United States, through raising money to support the patients of paediatric brain cancer, and to further research into treatments and cures of the disease.
Climb for a Cure was brought into existence as a Non-Profit Domestic Corporation, in the State of Indiana, by Secretary of State of Indiana Todd Rokita, under that State’s Nonprofit Corporation Act of 1991, on May 6, 2009. The incorporators who signed themselves to the official Articles of Incorporation, on April 29th, 2009 are as follows: Kevin McLoughlin, Mitchel Hannum, Patrick Brophy, David Spotts, Katherine Logan, Taylor Schueth, Andrew Repp, and Ashley Ramsey.
