About

Our Purpose

Each year about 2000 children and young adults across the U.S. are diagnosed with brain cancer. Every one of these diagnoses touches a family close to us, and starts a medical race against time in which even the youngest of children do battle with a force that they cannot see, touch, or understand.

Imagine your own daughter, your own son, your brother or sister, suddenly fighting for life against a power that attacks the most vital of her faculties. Now imagine you could do something about it.

Climb for a Cure exists to fulfill this dream: the dream of action. We work to spread awareness about the impact of this disease, and fundraise for specific research tools and programs that we know will make an immediate difference.

Our People

Ever heard about the heart of a volunteer? Every member of Climb for a Cure has one. It’s the power of these combined hearts that makes this organization, and all of it’s events and fundraisers, so darn special. We each do this because we care: about the children affected, about the strained families, and about the promise of hope that new research affords us all.

Our Pledge

We exist to fulfill the dream of action. It means that when we fundraise, we do it for specific research tools and programs that we know will be making an immediate difference. We inform you about where the money’s going, and track donation progress in real-time so that, if you decide to give, you can feel safe knowing your decision is an actual blow against children’s cancer.
