“Nothing great was ever accomplished without irrational exuberance.” - Tom Evslin
Climb for a Cure is about taking action. As a nonprofit organization, we are dedicated to spreading awareness about the impact of children’s brain cancer, and fundraising for specific research tools and programs that we know will make a difference.
Climb for a Cure is about inspiring hope, and we dream pretty big. Every year our members — who are almost exclusively student volunteers — gear up and challenge themselves both physically, and mentally, by climbing a mountain. In January 2010 we did Kilimanjaro, in May 2011 we’re doing Rainier.
Climb for a Cure is about sending a message. For us, our annual climb is as much about creating a symbol, as it is about funding research. We want to give hope: to the patients in treatment, to the families in pain, and to the survivors struggling to readjust.
We hope you’ll join us.
